Eating To Restore Balance

Welcome and let's get started

You are at the beginning of acquiring knowledge and tools to improve your health and the health of those around you. A few basics:

  • If you need help, please email marie@synergynutrition.info
  • Work at your own pace. I’ll send emails every now and then to remind you of your next step but you can take this as quickly or slowly as you choose.
  • Please do the steps in order. It might be tempting to jump to a topic of interest but doing so doesn’t get good results. Each section builds on prior information.
  • Be very certain you never go past a word you don’t fully understand. The only reason a person gives up or is unable to apply something is he or she has gone past a word or symbol that was not understood. I’ve tried to keep things simple or define special words for you.
  • Stay away from Dr. Google, vitamin and herb advertisements (or stores), anyone who doesn’t know your health situation and is just guessing. Save money and time—use whole foods to your healing advantage.

Many hundreds of my clients have noticed profound changes with these steps. That said, often various organs or health situations do need a nutrient or several in higher amounts than can be obtained in food. Consider a Nutrition Response Testing® exam to to understand your unique situation and design your unique program to fix what’s really wrong.

What you'll need

  • An open mind, a spirit of interest, and a willingness to try new things. A little bit of time; not much.
  • A decision to make some changes.
  • A set time a couple of days a week to come here and do the next step: it usually takes about 30 minutes.
  • A set day when you go grocery shopping.
  • A dry erase whiteboard to write things you’ve used up (If you have family members, some people ask family to text shopping lists AND get an agreement that if they don’t whiteboard/text per your request, then whatever they wanted won’t get bought until your next routine shopping day).
  • A 3-ring binder and sheet protectors is helpful to organize “favorites” and notes. In the end, the investment now will save you hours down the road.

Caution: Making any change takes thought and a little extra time—at first. Give yourself enough time to figure out what works for you and decide. Change it up, refine it, and share what you come up with over at the Synergy Nutrition Facebook Community.

…again, work at your own pace—of course the more you can do, the faster your results. Consider this your “me” time in balance with your other endeavors. Everything is about balance!
